You nailed it perfectly. I remember them having some of these songs on their Myspace page back in like 2006. I realize there were probably other commitments throughout the years, but yeah they do things at an odd pace. I know they had a bit of "success" with Top of The World getting on the Big Hero 6 soundtrack, but that was about it.

 

I didn't hear about Greek Fire until I heard "Doesn't Matter Anyway" a little before Deus Ex Machina came out. I figured that was their style, I had no idea they had more harder rock style out there which is why I was so surprised by Orientation. I do like both styles enough though and wish they did mix them up on the albums more.

 

Where did you see the tracklist? The preorder link they posted the other day doesn't work for me. I take it the old tracks are If This Is The End and Coming Out of the Rain? (although that one is from 2017)

 

They also shared True Colors at some point for pledgers.

 

Oh I didn't hear that one. Honestly I just want an official release of Saddest View.

 

Story of the Year and Greek Fire will both play at the memorial show for Matthew Amelung. That's interesting. I wonder if they have communicated at all.

 

Who knows but maybe this will be something that brings them together again. Realize life is too short and all that.

Absolutely loved Wolves (or most of it at least). I know Ryan is always working on it, but we really need some new music!

catching up a little bit with this band... watching the official videos. I really like the Wolves ones, but is it just me or do they have a similar vibe to the "I'm alive" one? As I've read in some of the comments, this band has really stuck to their original sound and that I really like!

That riff is tasty. I liked Wolves but I'm ready for some heavier stuff again.

 

Bummed that The Virus got removed from Apple Music and iTunes. That was a top five SOTY song for me.

 

Ryan seems to be working on new music quite a bit. Hopefully we get some soon!
