I don't know all of the details either, but there was the Kickstarter debacle which was a huge thing, and he made a joke that he sexually assaulted someone in an AP forum. Beyond that, yeah, I think he was just a shithead. There was also him constantly promoting his new project on the TDS social media accounts after they broke up.

 

I have a memory about hearing a story that somebody emptied a garbage can on top of a homeless person outside of a show but I think that may have been Johnny Craig.

 

Yeah, as far as I know that wasn't Cody. It does sound like Jonny Craig.

Reach For The Sun and War Paint defined a good portion of my early 20s. I played those albums so much, and sang along to every song as well. Tons of memories with both of those albums.

 

Why does the song War Paint make me tear up when I hear it?! It's not a particularly sad song lyrics-wise, is it? Song is so good IMO.

 

Tom Delonge is fine compared to Cody. Tom just doesn't want to play music with Blink. Cody is actually a lying, manipulative, stealing piece of shit

 

Well, I'd say it goes farther than that with Tom, but I agree Cody is worse.

 

Tom never stole other peoples money. Tom never fucked over other bands merch. To equate them, imo is ludicrous and sour grapes.

 

Good thing I didn't equate them... I literally asked a question about which one is hated more by their respective fanbase. No need to read more into it than that.

Yeah essentially this, YMAEWK commissioned a design from Cody and he also agreed to print them. The band put the shirt up for preorder along with one of the EPs (I don't remember which one it was right off hand) and it actually sold out, then Cody never printed the shirts which means the fans never got their order.

 

I think the band gave him a 5k advance for it too. Might be wrong but I don't think they got that back.

damn i thought that was a widely known fact, it happened on warped one year where he either harassed or straight up assaulted a singer from uhhhh forgot the band (the narrative? something like that i think) but then he got on AP when called out for it and just brushed it off with a joke

If I remember right, it wasn't even a thread about his accusations. AP just posted a news story about The Narrative and he came in and commented, with no prior prompts, "pretty sure I sexually assaulted this girl"
