I maintain that New Found Glory were a fantastic band up through Coming Home. Really well crafted songs, memorable riffs galore. I believe to this day no pop punk band in that vein has done what they did better than they did it. Too bad about post-2007 NFG, though.

I don't have any strong opinions on Title Fight one way or the other. Their early stuff interests me just as little as their later stuff. I don't think they're bad but it's just not for me.

Jimmy Eat World are wonderful, I'll admit I haven't paid as close attention to their last few releases as I probably should have, but the songs from those records that I've seen live always kick ass.

this thread made me revisit hyperview. forgot how much i loved a few songs on there. murder your memory and dizzy are something else.

 

The last two TTNG albums pale in comparison to Animals.

I actually don't know how unpopular that opinion is, but I'm posting it anyway 'cause I live on the edge.

I also think Nirvana is extremely overrated, they had one good album, and I feel they remain popular because Kurt died..

 

Title Fight are so good. I like Shed the best tho

 

How old are you? Nirvana was massive, like biggest Rock band in the world, way before Kurt's death.

 

I'm sorry.. Bleach and In Utero were not good.. And I can't say I enjoy Nevermind all that much.. I am not saying they weren't massive.. They brought Rock back forefront.. I just don't think their music is that good

 

LOLOLOLOL at Nirvana being popular only after Kurt died. They were HUGE when he was alive, like how naive do you have to be to think that?

 

Also, does anyone really care if one doesn't like The Beatles at this point? Like if you don't like them, that's totally cool. No one says you have to. However, I really am over people going out of their way to say that. Like, what's the point? You're not getting a trophy for not liking something so why bring it up?

 

The Beatles are garbage. Panic at the Disco showed them how it should be done.

 

Hmm.. Wasn't looking for a trophy.. Thought this was the thread of unpopular opinions.. Many people to this day call them the greatest rock band ever, one might say.. It's a POPULAR OPINION.. whereas me personally.. I just happen to disagree.. Something one might post in a thread dedicated to opinions that go against the popular opinion.. That's probably why someone would bring it up..

Agreed. A Little Piece Of Heaven has remained one of my all-time favorite songs for years, bar none.

 

"I Am A Nightmare" is devastatingly boring. Like I would be actually pissed if Brand New were my favorite band and teased new stuff for years and one day they finally drop a song and that's it
