Holy shit. I've seen them one other time and watched countless live videos but damn. Words don't even describe how amazing that was. Vin ended you won't know by playing a solo with his pedals and jesse jumped over his amps to play drums and jesus. What a show.

Whole set was pretty bad. Worst of my 5 times seeing them, easily. This venue does suck though. No energy from band and not a great setlist.

    Moshi Moshi was awesome though.

Still stoked that I got to hear the live debut of 1996. Made an amazing show that much more amazing.

I saw Moshi Moshi during night 1 in Mtl. Always neat when you get to hear a deep cut that they don't play very often.

That solo piece Vinnie did at the end with his pedals was fucking sick. That would be a great interlude.

Show was sick. My favorite thing was how they teased At The Bottom by playing the riff before the drums and then stopping for 10 seconds, only to continue

The You Won't Know outro was amazing. I didnt expect Jesse to climb on an amp.

They didnt play demo songs but that's okay. It was still the best show and probably moment I've ever been a part of.

i posted the floral print 2000 - 2018 logo on my Facebook and I've already gotten 2 people message me if Brand New is an anti-christian/satanic band

My first thoughts, however, upon further research the upside down cross is a reference to a story mostly passed down through religious lines about (Peter?) wanting to be sacrificed upside down because he didn't feel worthy do be crucified the same way Jesus was.

Also the upside down cross is seen in numerous Catholic...things.

My interpretation of it is about the same. It was traditionally a symbol of Christianity; it wasn't always anti-religious. A lot of Jesse's lyrics showcase him in a light in which he feels unworthy of religious forgiveness (Jesus, Limousine, I Am A Nightmare, etc.).

Another theory I made up for the logo is that, much like the whole "fight off your demons" mentality, the logo represents the burial of sins in the form of seeds and will thus grow into flowers, something positive. Making the worst things in your life turn good.

Jesse definitely changed the chorus to "I am a nightmare and you are minuscule" one of the times.

Mass gets Moshi Moshi??? We got Quiet Things, but shit man.

MSG was amazing though. So many people. Super overwhelming and awesome.

This video is funny now and the interview is awful (1:22)

Though they played there awhile ago with Dashboard but it's cool

Did anyone get a video of Vinnie's pedal solo? I'm obsessed with their interlude kinda stuff.

I got a huge chunk of it, but unfortunately, because I was right near the stage, the audio sounds warped and terrible :( The imagery of it looks cool though. If you're curious, go on @todayalive on Instagram. I posted it there.
