I already sent blood samples to that third party seller thinking they could give me the truth about the record

Last night's show at Madison Square Garden was absolutely amazing. I've seen a lot of great Brand New shows, and I've definitely seen some where I was happier with the set list, but there was an incredible energy in the entire venue and it was so, so cool to see.

It also helped that one of my friends is a security guard at MSG and got my and @fluxyjoe's seats upgraded to (what I think was) the guest list section to the right of the stage. Was definitely not expecting that. I never thought I would enjoy seeing a show from that angle but it was an awesome view + no crowd surfers.

Last night was incredible. 20th Brand New show and it did not disappoint. I am exhausted and have no voice.

    Maybe so, maybe not.

I was very close last night in West GA and I really just don't have the words for the experience. I agree with the others who are saying that Brand New legitimately seemed so appreciative of the opportunity to headline MSG, and they rose to the occasion for sure, as they always do.

You look close enough you could see in their eyes that they had to be thinking of all the shows that led up to the moment: tiny crowds at SportsPlus, Ground Zero, etc. Now they're looking out at this mass of people screaming every word to them. I can't imagine how surreal it must have felt. My girlfriend's favorite song is "Boy Who Blocked" and seeing her finally get to see it live and watching her cry in pure elation was a beautiful moment. Seeing the crowd lit up with phones and lights during "Play Crack The Sky" gave me full body chills. Garrett's bass was so goddamn loud it was shifting tectonic plates and fucking up MSG's infrastructure.

God damn it...ever since this 2018 stuff started bubbling up I said I was fine. This band has given me so much for almost 15 years, they owe me nothing. But I'd be lying if last night didn't hit me like a ton of bricks. There's gonna be a time when this band isn't in my life anymore. Life will go on, as it always does...but something will be missing.

    I appreciate Brand New.

(Ground Zero video for reference and two quick shots I snapped last night)

I think if they'd have announced the 2018 thing before my last show in September where they did all of Deja and about 6 TDAG tunes I'd have said fair enough. But not knowing it would be the last time I'm desperate for one last tour over here and I can follow them on tour one last time.

Don't know where you're at, but there are rumblings that we will see a tour in the Fall.

They know they have fans all over, and I'd bet they will make their best effort to make last stops to as many places as they can.

This is gonna sound like fucking crazy talk...but I turned down pit tickets to the Mann that someone offered me through the Archive. I haven't been home at all—lot of following Phish—and just want a beach day. Starting to kind of regret it...it'll pass though haha.

Welcome to the hobby. The quicker you learn the plural of vinyl is "vinyl", the better off you'll be.

I'm in the UK but I do feel that there will be a UK tour before they're done. I know they love it here and their audience is huge. I've followed them on tour almost every time they've been here ever since their first ever tour here. I'd pay extortionate amounts for one last tour to follow them again.
