the amnesia/penumbra games are the only decent indie horror games Ive seen, idk if Im missing any but there is alot of total crap out there

 

Much like the completely idiotic narrative the *Jim Sterling voice* "AAA" publishers were pushing regarding the "death of single-player games", the "horror games aren't viable/dead" narrative that the EAs of the world were slinging wound up being totally false/self-fulfilling. There was a clear hunger for those kinds of games, just, you know, good ones.

 

would love someone half as talented and inspired as the silent hill & siren guys to come around again

Halloween is my favorite month just because of how some streamers only play horror games. I had followed a guy who did a whole month of playing horror games and I didn’t realize there was enough for that.

I was talking to a guy on tinder. We started talking about games. He asked what my gamertag was. I said I don't have an Xbox one. He then unmatched me. Lol.

 

DICE took the time to fix the issues and now, it’s practically a fan favorite. Hell, there’s more people playing 4 on PS4 (heh) than 1 or V currently.

 

Dead Space and Dead Space 2 are fantastic horror games and I will not put up with that slander.

The opening of 2 is one of my favorite game openings ever, it just throws you into the horror and tells you to get going or die.

 

Yeah, 3 was pretty much shit. I did enjoy the co-op though, when one player was Issac and the other was a solider that saw all the Marker hallucinations while the former doesn’t.

 

as much as I don't like Dead space 3 it's not resident evil 6 levels of bad I'll give it that
