I don’t mind them taking a couple years off to work on a new BF, V was largely a disappointment. Hopefully they go back to the style of 3 and 4, easily some of the best BF games and still have healthy online communities playing them.

 

Yep, any of the PS1 titles you buy can be played on it.

How so?

 

BC2 + 1943 was prime BF imo

 

Damn I miss Battlefield 1943. Great little game. Wicked three maps and just excellent gameplay in a tiny download-only package. I spent hour and hours and hours and hours on that. Iwo Jima, Wake Island and Guadalcanal are my fav BF maps. Couldn’t stand the GREY remake of Wake Island for 3/4. Sucked all the life out of it.

 

V is dropping Iwo Jima on Thursday as a Grand Operation.

 

Not as just...a normal conquest map?! I’m hyped for it but if they limit it to that mode that’s frustrating. They also aren’t releasing Wake Island at launch with that DLC. Like come onnn

 

There’ll be a normal Conquest version I’m sure, all the maps have one AFAIK

 

Personally I want a D-Day operation but I doubt we’ll get it.

 

Just happy they’re bringing back Iwo Jima and my boiiiii the Garand.

In MW-related news - gosh damn am I hooked. I’m sat at work itching to go home to play it. Such an addictive game.

 

The multiplayer in MW is fantastic, easily the most fun I’ve had since OG Black Ops

I've been wanting BC3 for years but now I'm just like screw it. They don't know what they're doing at this point anyway. Gonna ruin it.

 

That and the campaign was brilliant. So incredibly immersive. I was so disappointed when it came to a close. Excellent gameplay, tense scenarios and superb graphics. Not things I thought I’d ever say about another CoD game since 4.

A huge fan of this slower-paced ‘tactical’ online gameplay. Even if it does result in a lot of campers.

 

That’s when you make them regret camping in the first place

 

Always save a tasty cooked grenade for windows with those plebs in. Or put a claymore at the entrance of their building. Wonderful seeing them open the door when they get bored, only to be blown back inside the grave they dug for themselves.
