even with the awesome wall running mechanics I found titanfall 1s multiplayer to be a bore

 

So you love COD

 

TF2 just felt like a 13 year old boy's wet dream with no women in it to me

 

literally just tried it on PSNow on Saturday and hated it but i also hate shooter campaigns so my input is useless. that said, movement felt way too floaty, didn't feel like the protag had limbs

 

TF2>Doom16

 

No.

 

Doom 16 was longer than 5 hours and wasn't the easiest game ever

 

Titanfall 2 is better than Doom on every level. And that's coming from someone who generally prefers the classical approach to FPS design.

 

I guess if you think jumping on walls = good gameplay

 

No mechanic is guaranteed to = good gameplay. It's all about execution of said mechanic.

 

If you want good gameplay you guys would play cat quest but I guess me and @oldjersey are the only ones that get to experience the good place

 

Doom 16 was great, I'm not going to slag it off. But TF2 had a nice campaign with good characters, but more importantly (for me) a multiplayer that had so many different ways to play and beat your opponents that I felt I could be versatile and not just be the person who shot the fastest.

Grapple hooking someone mid air and kicking them in the face was amazing.

 

I also think Pokémon is the only series with good multiplayer so hate on me for that

 

Pokemon has good (competitive) multiplayer, but to say it's the only is just wildly inaccurate and ignorant.

Now, saying it's the only one that does what you want from a multiplayer game really well is totally understandable.

I loved Doom but couldn’t for the life of me get past this one section where the game doesn’t tell you what to do because I’m stupid. But the platforming sections were naff

 

And hold on - if I got a vita I could play PS1 games from the store?? I want OG medievil and I may do this out of desperation

friend who is a 3D artist just posted he was outsourced in that new medievil game and appears somewhere in the credits. so proud of him. i think they did some work on the Spiderman game too
