I love this movie. Rare to see Quentin and Tom Savini on screen but they both nail their roles. Not to take away from Clooney in what is probably his most obsure role of his career. I might be wrong.

 

George Clooney is awesome in FDTD. From what I remember, this was his first film

last night I went family horror with House With A Clock in the Walls and Paranorman. had a lot of fun with House even though I wish there was more practical effects, but alas haha. still solid entry to kids horror I thought. and man, Paranorman is just excellent.

 

I’ll defend Paranorman until the day I die.

Didn’t care much for Basket Case but, man, Christine was great.

 

Just saw Christine at our cheap theater a few weeks ago and I concur, heartily.

 

I’m loving this trend of casting Nic Cage is bizarre, over the top movies and letting him do his thing. I hope it continues.

 

Just watched Trick r Treat with the wife. She's still getting more into horror but she liked it. I love that damn movie. The Brian Cox showdown with Sam is amazing.

 

Watched The Descent for the first time in probably ten years and it still holds up incredibly well. I keep forgetting she doesn’t actually escape the cave system though.
