I've easily just listened to this five times in a row, and it sounds incredible every time. Such aVIBE


Listening to this on my studio headphones, when that bass synth kicks in later in the song, it's just.......ughghghgh

 

I mean, there are the obvious TOOTIME comparisons, but I went back and listened to it earlier...

It's significantly less "vibey" than this lol.

 

I enjoy this more than TOOTIME

 

I’m mostly just an observer in these threads but I love the way The 1975 gets this shit going every time they release something. Ugh I can’t wait till February (or whenever this beast actually drops)

I definitely like People more but that song was a lot more obviously immediate, I could really see this one being a grower

 

I already like this more and I fucking love People.

 

Both songs, and the album intro, are fire.

No surprise there really.

But with the total track number of this album being so high, it's still so hard to predict how the album will sound. I'm so pumped, but annoyed the release date is so far away (February).

 

Didn’t even think of how FSTOM is going to go off live

 

I super hope the album actually ends up being 22 tracks long.

 

TOOTIME is my least favorite 1975 song

 

TOOTIME might be their biggest grower for me. I wasn't super into it at first but it's suuuuuuch a jam.

 

I made the mistake of following some of the fans from the video on social media when it first came out and most of them are insufferable and have since unfollowed haha

Haha I do this with a lot of songs, I put one song/album on at work and since I'm busy with stuff just never change it.

I was really really high for TOOTIME as well, I have 702 scrobbles for that one inception to date lmao

 

Probably my least favorite single from them. It's good, obviously, but I find the verse resemblance to Tootime just a bit too distracting right now.

 

I used to listen to songs hundreds of times but I get kinda sick of most songs after like 20 listens max these days. Would never listen to one song on repeat anymore.

 

You just gotta come across the right ones menggg.

 

Even my favourite songs these days I'll get sick of if I constantly listen to them too much in a short period of time. I think the most I've listened to a single song in the last few years is maybe 50 times? Idk. I listen to a lot less music in general though.
