It’s so annoying they didn’t have any problems when the beta went live. You would think with such a massive launch and the expectation of so many people wanting to get on the game they would have this solved. It’s been live for 40 min almost and I still can’t connect

 

Hmm it’s been working fine for me all day. That’s a bummer.

 

Got a few hours in earlier with the New Zealand trick. Shame people can't get in right now to play.

 

Wonder how Japanese servers will fare. I just went and bought a copy locally during lunch. Only 3 hours til I go home and experience the thrill of 14GB day one patches

 

Could have been a coincidence but I wasn’t able to get in then I turned off cross platform play and immediately got in

 

Might be onto something there. It’s one thing handling a launch that big but if the servers are handling activity from that many sources at once then maybe that’s what’s cocking it up. Hope they get it fixed before I’m home.

 

Oh my god. I finally got Obra Dinn since it released on console finally. This is one of the greatest games I’ve ever played. Couldn’t put it down for 4 hours.

 

I finally got into cod after about an hour and 15 min

 

See I wonder about that, because it’s not like Game Informer has been all that healthy lately. Though of course this new venture is probably cheaper than GameInformer.

 

Lol saved money buying CoD physical but good grief a 57.634GB update does not have me smiling. Guess I’ll just clean for the next 92 minutes. Thought y’all said it was like 14GB?!

 

Better still I’m trying to figure out where the language option is but to no avail @Rob Hughes @Cmoney86 - if you happen to be online could you maybe look in the settings for me to help locate it? I only see a subtitles language option...which is alarming. Guess that’s incentive to learn Japanese lmao

 

Not played a single second of The Outer Worlds yet because I am stuck on the title screen enjoying the hell out of the score, which sounds like something Jerry Goldsmith would have done.

 

I downloaded it and will use it as a reward for writing my essay later today

trust me my wifi is bad lmao, I have to hotspot a lot of the time because my internet can't handle more than one person using it constantly

 

Idk how the physical copy works with downloading each part of the game separately though

 

It installs *most* of the game and then needs a 57GB update for the rest. Guess it couldn’t all fit on one disc?

Either way I’m incredibly bummed out now that I’ve just essentially wasted 60 odd quid on a game I won’t ever be able to play properly or understand.
