I was supposed to see him at OVO 2013 (with James Blake opening that night) but he cancelled and I still haven’t seen him

 

So stoked for new music! I’ll be honest as much as dug Blonde I still think Channel Orange is my favourite from him.

The singles he released after Blonde were solid though especially Chanel.

For some reason I haven't been nearly as antsy for new music as I was before Endless/Blonde came out even though it's been almost the same amount of time. I think it's because he hasn't really disappeared this time like he did last time. I was so desperate for any new content from him that I watched this motherfucker build a staircase for like 2 weeks straight, but now he's semi-regularly doing features and interviews and even has a public Instagram

 

Eh, that letter doesn't really justify the tone deafness of the party theme, and why he chose to make it this exclusive.

 

Looks like he is selling 7 inches for 2 new songs on his website. Hope they hit streaming soon

 

Not that I have an opinion on his whole club night thing, but this makes it look like a single release party essentially, and that’s a bad look even if it’s not what it was.

 

Yeah, I don’t want to get too deep with it, but the optics of him shrugging off the criticism and then turning around and selling shirts advertising the dance night for $65 is not good.
