Making my unpaid merch girl position when I toured with Kenotia and all the unpaid work I did for Fearless Records sound like I managed merchandise inventory and finances and lead marketing campaigns for bands in my cover letter is peak desperate millennial spin to sound like I have the music industry experience you need to work in the music industry when nobody is willing to like...give you the opportunity to get that experience.

 

It's where I get all my work shirts (long sleeve button down) they're like $15 and you really can't get anything like that for less than $50 anywhere else

 

i interned at Epic Records in 2011/2012, went to Five Towns for music business, and after 1 year of internship, applied to *literally* hundreds of entry level positions that probably would have only paid me like $28k a year and i would have lived on the LIRR and hated every minute of it but thats what i wanted to do, and every "entry level" position, which was, really glorified intern work (answering phones, inputting data) wanted like 3-5 years experience. like......

That would be so fucking amazing haha. That tour was with Dance Gavin Dance, A Skylit Drive, Pierce the Veil, Lovehatehero, and Blinded Black.

I know they also toured with Kittie, Walls of Jericho and Eyes Set to Kill on later tours, that's what I can remember if you were at any show with them.
