I mean, NXT UK talent are signed to full time deals and have a gigantic financial backer; hard to argue its done anything for the wrestling scene of note (except maybe make the UK scene weaker). Some individual wrestlers are doing well, for sure.

For how hyped Meltzer was making that, something that wont actually have an obvious effect for fans is...odd

 

I really dig all the recent AEW shirts that look like vintage rock tees. I wanna buy em all but I’d be such a poser

 

How good is Adam Page actually? Only seen him since AEW and so far he’s not doing anything for me

His AEW stuff hasn't been his best. I still really love his match with Janela at All In.

 

Flag stuff in NXT was a very odd move. Especially in today's climate... Seems best to just avoid the spot

 

I understand why people wouldn’t like him but I very much enjoy hangman. He feels like a modern version of Dustin Rhodes the natural gimmick in WCW. so probably that nostalgia makes me like him more.

 

I feel like Page gets hurt by being surround but nothing but world class talent. Feels like the type of guy that if he came up through WWE and was in a spot similar to Rollins right now, everyone would be raving about him. But he gets held back by constantly being on cards with some of the best performers in the world.

 

I weirdly think page would look better in wwe because honestly, seeing him next to guys like PAC and Kenny make him look kind of husky.

 

Page had an awesome match with Jay Briscoe that I wanted to hate but ended up really loving.

 

Page is fine in the ring, and fine on the mic as well, but there’s something about him and his whole presentation that just screams “hey guys, I’m a wrestler! Do you see me? I’m a wrestler!”

Funny, I was just gonna compare him to TJ Perkins and the CWC...where of all the guys to win, he was like the 6th best option. And the first 2 months flopped because he was kind of blah, whereas building him up long-term may have worked better. Page obviously didnt win the belt, but they needed a better build than him winning a battle royal and facing (relative) nobodies when they have a roster with Omega, Mox, Pac, Penta, Fenix, etc as legit contenders.

hmm im starting to think this isn't even gonna worth discussing eventually. To me, it's obvious DYNAMTIE is the show to watch on wednesdays. I'm loving it. Maybe they read this thread because they FIXED THE SOUND! for theme music (which still sucks unfortunately).

That Cody hype package....my gawd! so good. Jericho's crushing it right now. This tag tournament has been a lot of fun and has put a lot of these guys on the map!

My only criticsms remains the womens division...and i think Lucha Bros should've gotten a quick squash.

I'm definitely looking forward to Dynamite more than Raw/Smackdown/NxT. I'm quickly fading my interest for NxT.

 

Ciampa took Garza's Mexican flag, started attacking it, and then used it as a weapon against Garza.

Definitely what should be considered a complete heel move. But still got a lot of cheers from fans because there are a lot of racist fans in the WWE. If the goal was to try and get some heel heat back for Ciampa... there are certainly a lot of other better ways to do it.

 

Did you watch it? It wasn’t a flag, it was his tear away tights. Yeah, they were the colour of the the Mexican flag, but it was definitely done due to the Garza cockiness when taking them off. Definitely didn’t get a racist vibe from it. The cheer was more due to the ridiculousness of doing a running knee to a pair of tights.
