What do you do to help the symptoms?

 

I've been on proton pump inhibitors since I was a teenager. Twice a day, supposed to take 30 min before I eat but sometimes I forget until I actually start eating heh. It doesn't work that great for me anymore though but way better than if I didn't take it at all

I was on long term antibiotics for a few years as a kid and thinking it messed my stomach up at the time

 

That sounds terrible, sorry you have to deal with that. I take Nexium OTC and that definitely helps, otherwise I tend to drink milk and that usually helps as well.

 

Haha thanks! No worries, at this point I'm pretty used to it. I have to get an endoscopy every few years which kinda sucks but oh well. I guess there's surgery I can get but my doc says It tends to reverse itself after a few years

 

I've been pretty obsessed with Thousand Island Dressing lately

Surprisingly only put it in on normal savory things

Italian and Balsamic vinaigrettes are delicious

 

Have you tried kefir? I was able to get off my PPIs with a diet change and kefir really helped.

 

Nothing wrong with a little or a lot Thousand Island on your chicken parm

 

I had that late night jack in the box munchie meal and lemme just say that was a perfect meal and I’m about to get that all the time after work.

I had a McDonald’s biscuit yesterday and it really hit the spot. I can’t make them that good at home yet.

I already brought that up in the thread, trust me

 

I drive by my Popeyes daily just to make sure it hasn’t come back yet and I see some places have already got it.

 

had to cook a meal in a time share this weekend so we did spaghetti and meatballs. we didn’t have any oil for the pan for the meatballs besides leftover sub oil so we poured that on them and honestly? delicious.
