FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

Neighborhoods got a ton of fall play the first few years from me. Untitled has always been a mostly fall record too so between that and Nine, good luck to it squeezing in there ever at this point lol. Nine feels perfect for my weather right now

Idk what kind of season I'd associate Neighborhoods or NINE with, but Dude Ranch is such a summer album for me. Flashbacks of being 16 blaring it out the windows as I drove home from my shitty part time job lol.

I know you're a Trio fan but I need to post this in response to "Dead-of-winter album" anyway lol:

Untitled is both a fall/winter album for me.

Untitled is good anytime of the year for me. TOYPAJ usually gets more plays in June (same with EOTS). Neighborhoods I don't play too often but usually around now. NINE is still receiving a lot of my attention.

  12. I was playing Dude Ranch this morning and he requested Darkside on his own. Haha. He’s a cool kid!

This is very inappropriate to post because it's basically glamorizing drugs which are already very stigmatized. Not sure what Blink was thinking here.

damn y’all remember when I shitposted a syringe full of beans and y’all acted like I murdered a puppy?

and then blink releases official art equating being emo with drug use and it’s fuckin’ crickets in here?

let’s at least be consistent blink thread

  21. It's not "official art" it's a reposted fan drawing of the artist's interpretation of the lyrics/songs for an art project.

Plus a prescription drug bottle doesn't necessarily need to represent abuse? People with mental health issues could have depressive feelings of being "emo" and the prescription meds are to help them get through it. At least that applies to me? But not going to pretend I know what the artist interpreted it as.

I usually stay silent in these situations, and I’m not going to delve into personal information that I don’t owe anyone, but there are points of this argument that is being proposed here that are really, really offensive to me and people I love.

It also equates "emo" as being "depressed" in a way when emo is a music genre, not a state of being. At least, that's how I see it.

If you're referring to me, I apologise, and not trying to offend. I've struggled with mental health for years and have been on a lot of different medications for it. When I'm depressed, sometimes I'll say something like I'm feeling kind of emo heh.
