I’m just gonna do my top 10 bands/artists with my favorite releases of this decade. Not sure if I could narrow down albums... There’s an element of consistency here and aren’t in any particular order either...

    - The Dangerous Summer
    - Angels & Airwaves (Tom bringing Ilan into the creative process saved the band for me)
    - The Naked and Famous
    - Northlane
    - ERRA
    - Charli XCX
    - The 1975
    - Blink-182 (2010’s releases pre-Skiba... current line-up has some good, interesting ideas but they rarely amount to anything interesting to me)
    - Yellowcard
    - Flume (that mixtape earlier this year was pure flames, front to back... had to include it)
    - Bleachers (Jack’s a cool dude and writes great songs... guess that’s 11, had to throw him in there though)

    Basically, legends only... lol

    Cardinal - Pinegrove
Carrie & Lowell - Sufjan Stevens
Babel - Mumford & Sons (Sigh no more was 2009 ugh)
True Sadness - The Avett Brothers (I and Love and you was 2009 ugh)
    Bon Iver - Bon Iver

    Honorable Mentions:
    American Soft - Chris Staples
    Blanco - David Bazan
We Are Who We've Always Been - Kevin Devine

yes. i don’t really like that album at all but the one they did in the 00s would be near the top of whatever list i’d have done for that decade

What is it you like about Back From the Dead 2 vs the rest of Chief Keef's output?

bang 2 -> almighty so -> back from the dead 2 are all kind of a piece for me, but back from the dead 2 is a full tilt into warped self-production. scary, strange, mindbending music. keef’s (great, simple but clever as it rounds each couplet) rapping is practically the only thing tying it to the ground, which is odd bc under normal circumstances he is the one slipping around the beat. “faneto” also a highly influential rap song

  17. Still putting together an actual list but War Paint will certainly be at the top.
That record was there for basically every moment in my adult life. Graduating, going through college, heartbreak, becoming a dad. The list goes on.

I don’t think anything can beat that out for me

War Paint was definitely a life-changing album for me, at the time... I don’t think I would’ve made certain life-decisions back then, had I not heard that record...
