I used to hate Phil Collins and because he is pretty cheesy but I appreciate him now

 

My taste has gotten exponentially cheesier as I've gotten older and I love it

 

Got in a weird discussion with my friend. She was talking about how when she was a baby her parents accidentally left her on the front porch and didn't realize until they were 45 minutes out of town and like I totally get it was an accident and whatever like she's fine, but then she started going on this baby boomer-esque rant about how things "are so different now" and cps would likely have been involved and how dumb that is and I'm like uhhhhhh.... Cps should be involved in instances like that??? Like no they probably wouldn't and shouldn't have removed you but like.......... A baby being left alone on a porch for 2 hours warrants at least an investigation. Idk it was weird territory. Like me wearing social worker hat and she defending her parents even tho I wasn't rly intending to come for them like that..... Like I just think leaving a baby on the front porch warrants an investigation at the least whether it's an accident or not. Like they don't know it's an accident unless it's investigated first and that's how they keep children safe???? Idk man.

I feel like this whole weekend has been me like.... Not vibing with others. I feel like my opinions are "too" strong or serious something. I don't think that's a bad thing but I think it alienates ppl and I've had a weird somewhat lonely last couple of days because of it.

 

Idk why it took so long for someone to tag me in the Disney discussion, but Out There from Hunchback is my dark horse pick for favorite Disney song.

 

Yeah honestly if leaving a child on a porch for 2 hours isn't worth a CPS investigation we probably shouldn't have CPS
