The crowd got muted when they announced the Crown Jewel match. Not sure if anyone caught that.

 

First weekly main roster show I've watched in maybe a few months? Overall it wasn't the worst, but man that ending was brutal last night. Between the underwhelming reveal of Lashley, the fact that he had to gesture to the entrance way like 3 or 4 times before Lana's music hit, and just the overall fact that it's an awful storyline that already kills any momentum Rusev could have had with his return.

 

Also, parts of the new stage setup are cool, but I hate the fact that the entrance is not centered. I'm sure there's a logistical reason for it, but it just throws me off every time I see it off to the side so much.

 

It didn’t help that people probably thought JoMo was in the limo. I think he would’ve gotten a solid pop

 

Is it confirmed that he's definitely coming back? I saw something reported but then something about him tweeting that it wasn't the case maybe?

 

I already forgot about him. That should tell you what I think of him coming back

 

I don't think that anything that happened on Raw generated anything that even resembles a good story line.

The Rusev Lana stuff is trash. The Crown Jewel is obviously a hot pile...

And I'm honestly sick of pretty much everyone being pushed minus Bray. But honestly the same ending with him show after show has already gotten a little stale...

Looking forward to AEW and hoping that SDL doesn't shit the bed the way Raw did.

 

The thing Im looking forward to most this week is NXT. Ive basically given up on RAW, and the odds im ever around to watch SD on fridays is pretty low.

Kind of wish AEW had gone with Tuesdays so it'd be easier to watch NXT and AEW and get my fill

 

I guess I'll have to agree with the people who said this was too soon for Bray main event push. Diminishing returns the more we see him. There was a pitch a few months ago that suggested bray be the first one to beat the demon balor... I think that would've been the way to go.

 

Wale will be on NXT tomorrow.
