borderlands looks crazy boring

From what I’ve played of it, it’s basically the same game as the rest but prettier.

 

Not sure how I feel about this

borderlands, the division, destiny, anthem are all the exact same damn terrible thing imo

Edit: just looked it up people call the genre ‘looter shooters’

Loved The Division. Until I didn’t. It got to a point where you had to grind an unceremonious amount in order to progress at all. Cue 45 minute +++ gun battles to bosses that just wouldn’t go down only for your teammates to get angry and quit and leave you wondering why you bothered in the first place. It just sapped any enjoyment out of the game for me, which was a shame because at first I bloody loved it.

2 just looked like a graphically worse, almost more sluggish version of it. The demo was incredibly underwhelming to me. Though if it had any of the charm the first initially did, I can see why folk enjoy it.

The setting of the original was what nailed it for me. Brilliantly done.

 

Borderlands is actually more like if Diablo was a FPS, the others are more similar to one another

the soundtrack alone puts tony hawk well above any other attempt at this kind of game

 

Leave it to a THPS fan to claim gameplay doesn't matter

 

They're both good

 

Even if your prefer Skate, the best Tony Hawk games are about as perfect in gameplay as a game can get.

I personally prefer THPS because I used to skate irl so I wanted my games to actually make me feel like I'm great at it rather than the Skate games which just made it feel more like real life aka a pain.

 

I like playing Skate more now at this time but when THPS was at his peak I was at an age where I didn't want a game like Skate I wanted THPS

 

I enjoyed TH but Skate was just so fluid

 

Right now I wanna find ways to do cool lines under realistic physics and make it look good

Back then I wanted to McTwist over a helicopter to the sounds of Refused
