How far out from the city are you? My sister lives in Oakland so the drive isn't too bad but tbh I wouldn't want to ever drive if I lived there! Parking gives me so much anxiety plus the toll to cross the bridge every time -___-

 

honestly just seeing the letters L-I-R-R is enough to make me mildly annoyed

It's a 40-minute BART ride or 25-30mins by car if traffic is light (but fuck if I would ever willingly drive into the city). So my commute is basically exactly 1 hour from the door of my apartment to the door of my office during the week.

That's not terrible although it must suck when they're doing track work.

 

Finally back home after a mentally exhausting past 2 weeks. Got to hang out with Jess and Dyl and Kaitie last night and get drinks for my birthday and see Kaitie out. Dylan wouldn’t stop feeding me tequila. It was fun. Got Waffle House with Jess this morning. She got me the new Lana record for my present. All much needed after all the bullshit lately.

 

We got maybe 3ish hours of sleep because @dadbolt kept us out until after 1am but we’re at about the halfway point and unfortunately kaitie hasn’t killed me yet

 

I normally would never complain about the hour/hour 15 ride into manhattan, the problem is that is almost never that short lol

 

Yeah, during the week isn't that bad since I usually just read or watch stuff on the way to and home from work. They don't do track work a lot so it's not usually a big deal. The uncertainty for today kind of makes me want to grab a Lyft into the city to get to my tattoo appointment; it's just not cheap, lol.

 

Give her time, murder is something you gotta work up to.

 

I watched the Patriot Act episode on public transportation and have no hope that it will ever improve
