Every once in a while, the needless bitching about generally correct takes that don't make certain left wingers happy should be pointed out for the needless bitching that it is.

waaah the media is in the bag for Warren over Sanders waaah god stop whining about something that doesn't exist.. Bernie isn't losing ground because Matt Y correctly pointed out that the differences in their domestic policies are small enough to not matter in the end game. He's losing ground specifically because they're not very different, and a lot of people view her policies to be credible and left wing enough to satisfy their policy wants.

  2. which finance bro buddy of yours did you get this analysis from?

  4. lets count the insane verifiable nonsense in this post:

    1. the media has absolutely no preference for Warren over Sanders
    2. when negotiating a policy, it literally does not matter what your starting point is (why not just vote for a public option advocate then? why bother even talking about m4a at all?)
    3. punditry and media has virtually no effect on the outcome of elections

very cool stuff that really makes sense when you remember everything that happened in 2016

I've been told specifically by you that what other people say about specific candidates has no effect or impact on how people vote, sooo

All the finance bros supporting Elizabeth Warren the corporate shill, of course. They're all in on Liz!

  9. Having now read the WP complaint can we get them to re-write the Mueller report? They're such a better writer and wayyyyyyy better at getting to the point with complex material with crisp writing. Hell, we'd have already impeached if a better writer had written that report.

You've literally defended people with large followings on twitter, some of whom who do write about politics for a living, by saying that their criticisms of HRC after the primary in no way impacted voter turnout, and neither did social media pages with reaches in the millions that posted things meant to dampen voter enthusiasm. You have said repeatedly that it's crazy anyone would say those actions could have the effect of suppressing the vote. soooooooooooooo

  11. Three articles that show how Elizabeth Warren is trying to win, and subsequently doing well in the democratic primary is a weird way to argue she's a corporate shill.

Part of that was definitely Mueller wanting to keep his head down and not specifically say/allege things because he wanted to be "neutral"....which is awful.

  13. Tulsi Gabbard really, really sucks.

Yeah but, on the positive side, @Wharf Rat now has to argue that Bernie would keep the troops even less safer>-p

  18. I'm not looking forward to what happens if the early states shake out like polling has them at the moment.

  19. any of that was massively outweighed by Hillary being best friends with every cable TV pundit and asking them to prop up Trump in the republican primary. and now, yes, those same pundits caping for Warren and, yes, being biased against Sanders will have a similar effect. I don't see how this post squares with the one where you say I'm being ridiculous for thinking vox dot com coverage effects things though. please keep posting about how the gay rainbow buff bernie ad took down hillary tho. it clearly worked out, which is why Trump is currently under threat of impeachment over colluding with Russia,

  20. It is true, the media was very favorable and very friendly to Hillary in 2016. ;-p

He should have been impeached for colluding with Russia a year ago, and Dem leadership failures on that front don't lessen the seriousness of what was done.

Vox.com coverage can definitely impact! So read Matt's longer stuff about this where he lays out the reasons why he says as much. You may not agree with it, but that also doesn't make it incorrect:shrug:Those articles will certainly get more reach than his tweets. But if you're not invested in his tweets, I'm sure he expanded on it in a 7 tweet thread anyway because that's what he does.

  22. they were just doing what she asked by propping up Trump! seems like her own fault!
