Tutoring a class that's writing an essay on a book I haven't read. Getting paid for it.

im so bad at stats

 

What really helped me excel in stats was having a study buddy. I don’t think we could have done it without each other. Thems my two cents ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

probably a good idea. The problem is I'd be less of a "study buddy" and more of an "unhelpful dead weight loser"

Haha that’s what you think but I’m pretty sure once you put yourself in a position of accountability you might do alright! I sorta felt the same way but it turned out that where she had the answers in one area I would have them in another.

It was actually a pretty funny situation cause our teacher had a heavy Vietnamese accent and my study buddy had just moved here from Denmark and was very much in the process of learning English so there was all sorts of shit getting lost in translation but we worked through it and both got As in the class . The biggest thing was just being consistent

True. I've been keeping up with the readings but I just have a really hard time applying my knowledge.

Started studying stats, ended up in biology. love it

Did you ever do anything?

 

We became really good friends and it was clear that we had chemistry but she had a boyfriend. I invited her over to my going away party before I moved to SoCal and we had a great time. At one point we were both pretty toasty laying on a bed together looking through some shit on my phone and I feel like I could have made a move but it just felt wrong. She ended up getting pregnant with her boyfriend and they moved back to Denmark. We still chat occasionally though and she’s good friends with my sister now. Legitimately one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met.

 

How's their pan pizza compare to normal? Never had it

 

Lol me with my psychology essay which was worth like 70% of my grade. Wrote it the morning of, on material that is only in a textbook (which I didn’t own), and got a B+

 

Honestly, I can’t remembered the last time I’ve had their regular pizza cause I’ve just been getting pan for awhile now. I’m just gonna go ahead and say it’s better haha

I hear you. you gotta listen to content that's designed to be listened to... so that you can follow along with your eyes closed... so you trick yourself into falling asleep.
