I looked up What's My Age Again on wikipedia, this excerpt is pretty funny

Yeah, I love this, and I'm gonna back that it's better than OSES.

Idk if it's just the Youtube compression or what, but it feels kinda empty though. The guitars sound kinda... idk. Thin?

But Matt's backing vocals in the post-chorus are beautiful.

Still haven’t heard the song yet! It’s the wife’s 30th so we are out on a winery crawl. Gonna be nice and toasty when I hear it though!

 

I always found it strange and didn't feel genuine. I never took to UC2 as much because of how the interviews felt. :/ TOYPAJ is my fav blink record tho so it was cool seeing them make it.

 

Well I’m glad that was a B-side. Definitely weaker than most if not all of the album.

 

Out Of My Head is really good! Looking forward to hearing a higher quality version of it though, the one that's on YouTube is kinda bad.

 

It's a demo that turned into Heaven, Travis posted it.

 

Out Of My Head gets better with each listen (as is the case with the rest of this album)

Interesting. I never felt that way about Tom and Mark’s interviews. It was around this time that the band first started to have some turmoil during the recording of TOYPAJ so maybe you’re on to something.

Travis’ interview did seem strange to me though I remember him talking about how he didn’t want to be labeled as just a punk drummer and I thought to myself I wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up leaving the band because of that.

 

I’m not mad at you, just a little disappointed.

 

I was around 11 years old when I first watched it, and it felt very genuine to me then haha.

 

Listening to nine for the first time through headphones other than AirPods. This is the album I needed from blink at this point. This is blink182

 

this is fucking fantastic. It honestly sounds like Box Car Racer

 

Annnnnd Out Of My Head is definitely catchy. I LOVE the bass in the song. Happy to have to this song along with 15 others. :)

I think the “left your favorite records to melt” line is my favorite on all of NINE. It instantly stuck out to me and gives such a visual.
