Honest question because I don't have the slightest clue but is the Hall of Fame something that is possible for a band like blink?

Yes. I was using Green Day as my precedent for seeing blink eventually get inducted.

 

We can be mad they're playing BTD all we want but remember when everyone in here was all complaining how bad they were screwing up their album rollout lol (they weren't haha.) It's still the #1 song for the third week in a row on the rock chart, of course that's what's airing.

I know this has been mentioned before, but they really need to take "Bored to Death" down half a step. Mark's voice cracking is reminiscent of the trouble he had recording "Dammit." Surprised Skiba hasn't suggested it, considering Trio now tune down for live performances.

"What's My Age Again?" sounded great, though.

 

Yeah, all of the performances of BTD haven't been that great if I'm being honest. Would probably help a ton if it was brought down half a step.

Why? It's pretty OK IMO. Like, even before Tom's lost his live voice, their late shows performances weren't excellent.

 

That's probably the best live Bored to Death to date.

 

When I didn't hear "sodom-you" after Mark sang "this state looks down on sodomy", I missed Tom for the first time since Matt Skiba joined. But still, I love how they sound now and really want Skiba to stay in the band.

 

I forgot they were on Colbert last night - and just watched it....

Was that tough to listen to BTD for everyone or just me?

Whats my age - was better, but whats the consensus on the performances?

 

it wasn't good but it was the best they've sounded to date.

BTD was totally fine last night. Y'all need to to go watch some more videos with Tom if you don't think they've improved.

But man.... I just found BTD tough to listen to....

And again - I say... Travis is just pure potent.... He's like Rollins playing/singing - just <so> 200% <INTO> it. He's in that 'zone'.

 

No one is suggesting they haven't improved.

 

Tom is the worst performer I've ever been a fan of, so saying they've improved since him really isn't saying much haha
