Ground War was fun but I’m not a fan of the map at all, especially at lower levels when you have nothing good and you are just spawning to die lol

 

Yeah the map isn’t the best tbh, but I still like running people over

 

The recoil of the guns in MW is fantastic, it feels real

Started the Gears campaign last night....only through Act I and a couple of parts of Act II, but enjoying where they're taking the story so far.

 

wrapped up God of War last night. really satisfying ending to an epic father/son journey. might go and do some of the other side quests now that I have all of the skills and stuff. my only complaint was that every ‘boss’ was the same giant demon with a pillar. it was cool the first maybe second time but after the tenth it was old.

I'm really torn on Modern Warfare...the gun play feels good but I also think the TTK is a bit too fast. I enjoy the normal modes but I'm not sure that style of multiplayer is enough to hold my attention for very long anymore. And ground war is just way too chaotic. As a BF player I was excited for it, but there's way too many people and killstreaks going off on that map. It might be better if people actually used the entire map but everyone goes to the big warehouses in the middle and just never leave. And the spawns, jesus they were bad, spawned multiple times within like 10 feet of an enemy and just got annihilated.

 

best mode is definitely cyber attack, always love the tension those modes bring

 

Just finished Detroit Become Human and damn what a completely engaging narrative experience. Definitely one favorite games I've played in recent memory. Really loved how they handled failure states and allowed for an engaging story regardless of how "well" you played. Only real complaint was the motion controls/stuff where you had to use the touchpad. Sometimes in the heat of the action would get confused as to if I was supposed to move the controller or just the thumb stick.

Fucked up towards the end and got Kara and Alice killed while trying to escape Jericho. Way more fucking devastating than your typical video game over screen, even knowing I can go back and retry. Plus like their death, trying to run instead of playing dead, just adds more weight to the devastating tragedy of the events.

Markus successfully stormed one of the camps and Connor died like three times and now there is gonna be a giant humans vs androids war. Hopefully the people will realize that I never wanted violence it was always the last resort and give into our demands and bring about peace but not holding my breath

 

MW is a surprise, it’s got a lot going right for it and with a few tweaks, it can really be something.

 

I don’t agree with the TTK - I love how fast it is. However the Ground War mode is a mess, yeah. To add to that, killstreaks really need reworking. I think scorestreaks make more sense - it pushes people to actually work the objectives and not just camp in some warehouse. They’re far too frequent and it really drags being in so many sessions where you’re consistently getting rinsed trying to capture objectives but the rest of your team are hiding way back just racking up kills to get missiles and gunships.

Even in TDM I just think the killstreaks are far too frequent. Constant missiles dropping down and interrupting gameplay. Very frustrating. It’s a shame because the gunplay is great fun.
