It's very on par for a band who consistently has fantastic album art!

 

The album art’s not gonna matter much once we hear the music. It’s not their best album art but I like it.

Just looked up the artwork for all their records (because of this thread) and oof - Damage is bad. I would say my favorite artwork is from my favorite record of theirs (by a landslide) - Futures.

 

Futures is my fav artwork of theirs but honestly I'm not a huge fan of any of their covers. They're pretty well suited to the vibe of each album though i think.

i like Damage (hate the artwork) but I think they should remaster it. The production on it is so bad (i know they did that for a reason to strip it down) but it really hurts some of those songs.

 

I think leak day thursday is mostly an albums things anyway

I always thought they should remaster them also.... it’s all done via tape tho so I think that’s the issue! Love the album

 

Always thoughts Damages sounded a little flatter and that the artwork for it ways odd considering the year it was released.

 

yeah it's their worst album imo but there are some gems. I think No Never could have been on any post clarity JEW album. There is just something about a lot of the tracks that are easier to skip. I think Integrity blues was a real 'wow this sounds like a similar to futures album' for me which is what makes me excited for Surviving as it gives them an opportunity to build on what was one of their best ever albums.
