Well at least we can already rule out Green Day so I don’t have to wait until the lineup to be disappointed they aren’t playing!

Jumping in on the speculation even though I’m definitely not going

Let's just pray for the Black Parade...
The day can't be Green... So why not get the next best thing...

 

I could really go for Alexisonfire, maybe Spanish Love Songs, I also would love to see Toto.

 

I’d like to see Refused, Danzig, and Simple Creatures on the lineup.

Charli XCX would be super fun, and I think she would actually fit in well here.

Also, the yearly pipe dream for a Minor Threat reunion.

 

My Pipe Dream would be Dead Kennedys with Jello doing Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables for its 40th anniversary. Never going to happen but that would be what I would wish into existence for next year if I could.

Edit: Oh, and also AFI doing Answer That and Stay Fashionable for its 25th!

I can't go (again) next year sadly (my cousin is getting married that weekend) but here for the speculation!

 

My (not too wildly unrealistic) headliner predictions: The Killers, Slipknot, Hole.

I'm always going to put MCR atop my list. It's bound to happen sooner rather than later. Also, don't overlook Rammstein using Riot Fest for their Chicago stop. They likely won't tour much moving forward so that almost makes Riot Fest an even better fit.

Think that Panic! At the Disco is too big to be one of the headliners?

 

They might be on the cusp, but I don't think they're too big yet. Might be more of a matter of the band and fest both thinking they're the right fit. I'm all for Riot Fest booking more pop though.

 

I think Menzingers, Lawrence Arms, Every Time I Die, Bayside, FIDLAR, Bouncing Souls are all probably due to return next year, which already solidifies it as a great lineup lol

At this point I think they are and would play Lolla

 

With the New Years Eve show selling out pretty much instantly, I'd say Motion City Soundtrack is a lock.

 

The real question is, will they give me the 10-year My Dinosaur Life album set that I desperately want?

 

The only positive out of this is that there will be no discussion of Green Day.
