Two listens in now. BIOMY is def one of my least favorites here. It just doesn’t really do anything for me.

 

thankfully i can't remember any songs on california / deluxe so nine doesn't have any associations to anything else which makes it even more fresh sounding.

Agreed on both counts

 

I was thinking about it, and there's really only like 3 or 4 songs on this thing that I could possibly see Tom fitting into. "The First Time", "Darkside", maybe "Pin the Grenade", and "On Some Emo Shit". These are the only songs that sound vaguely like the (good) songs on Neighborhoods like "Kaleidoscope" and "Natives" that actually had collaboration. Almost all the rest have a heavy Matt vibe to them. I love it.

 

Hey! I actually kinda like "Love Like Rockets"!!! haha

 

Sick burn. I would've put Sirens instead.
