The First Time and Pin the Grenade I'd say are "alright". Darkside is "fine". The rest I definitely won't come back to. May your echo chamber continue.

I’m just glad people are enjoying things.

This album is moody. Definitely sounds more personal than California. It's the album I needed right now, and this is going to be the soundtrack to helping me through everything going on.

None of these songs confused or bored me (Like some on California did), but they also didn't excite me or make me emotional like "Left Alone" & "San Diego" so you win some you lose some.

Also are the people were mad about IRWIHY also upset about Hungover You? Because they're very similar (and awesome) in my opinion.

Loving that it seeks Matt had a much bigger hand in the writing this time. People made all the Alkaline 182 jokes when he joined the band, and I was pretty disappointed that California wasnt that at all lol. While I don't want Alkaline 182, I always preferred Matt's darker writing style which this album is full of that.

You know... I think the biggest miss is just naming this "Nine", but I guess thats a way of having it be similar to Untitled in it's own way.

remember to forget me was a weird choice for a closer. usually that type of track goes in the middle of the album.

On Some Emo Shit is one of my favorites on the album, but I can't stand the title haha

And... BIOMY would've been a super forgettable track on the back half of the album, but on the front, it's a solid way of bringing up the mood before it dips down again.

On Some Emo Shit is the only song in blink-182 with Skiba history without a co-writer credit.

Just Mark, Travis, and Matt are listed.

You can tell Travis enjoyed himself quite a bit with the mix of drums and electronic stuff.

Am I the only one who thinks it was probably intentional making the intro to The First Time sound strikingly similar to the intro to Feeling This? Or am I just hearing things that I want to hear?

  14. Yeah, it's got that phasing effect on the drums that "Feeling This" has.

I think the whole thing was made to mirror untitled, somewhat.

I think I need to witness Feeling This and The First Time played back to back opening a live show.

What’s the ratio of Mark/Matt lead vocals?

My god, Skiba truly does shine on this.

    I'd guess maybe 60 Mark / 40 Matt.

Probably very close- but it's really about the IMPACT that Matt has when he comes in. It's true, alkaline GRITTY that he got to pilot in Blink's context that makes some of these tracks just... POP. No Heart to Speak of is a GREAT example.

early fave is black rain. hard to single out much i don't love though. the only song that doesn't immediately work for me is the closer.

After reading the comments here, I am excited. And I'll wait, and I'll wait, and I'll wait, and I'll wait...for an official release of the album.
