Jesus, the chorus on No Heart To Speak Of is incredible!

 

You can say whatever you want man, I'm just laying out my reasons for being sceptical of high praise for any new blink album around the time of release.

Definitely don't feel obligated to leave. Would love to hear your opinion on it as someone who doesn't totally love the band!

 

My impressions aren’t as positive as this, but I do agree that it exceeded my somewhat low expectations.

 

I'm so excited to see Blink tomorrow now. I'm gonna yell at Mark to play Heaven.

 

I feel like this is the first song that for me really justifies Matt being in the band.

 

i'm one song in and this is a completely different band than california. that was just a warm up album

 

Also, lyrically, while there are some serious clunkers, this is leagues and leagues and leagues beyond California and probably Neighborhoods, too.

 

It's better than I thought based on the singles but I don't like the Taylor Swift vibes. It's too over produced. I don't think i'll remember many of the songs in a month or so. Solid 4/10.

 

I wonder if there's any news on whether it's been confirmed that the Japanese version will have a bonus track and what it is. I want to say that "Hey I'm Sorry" was known for at least a few weeks before California was released that it was going to be on the Japanese import. I've looked in a few places and so far haven't found out anything.

 

That's fine to be skeptical about your own expectations and experience with it, and you're free to dislike it all you want when you actually give it a listen.

I'm just saying it's unfair to claim that you know that anyone who currently likes it will not like it in the future (I still like California quite a bit). It's not contributing anything besides an attempt to kill the current vibe for everyone else. It's fun to be hyped about something.
