True, I guess if Zack was being pushed he would actually have had a story to go to Battleground with. But this is the closest thing we've had to a push with Ryder in a long time. I mean he beat Y2J, won the IC title, won a 16 man tag team match on Raw and then beat Sheamus (who was recently a world champion) in Smackdown. Hopefully with Ryder suddenly becoming a mid-carder we see him in a feud with another mid-carder heel. Then again I don't know who to put him in a good feud with. Sheamus doesn't seem like he would be a viable option. Unless they have him literally beat the ever-living shit out of Ryder like Triple H did to Roman Reigns (which funny enough came after Sheamus lost to Roman) but I'm talking Sheamus comes out after Ryder wins a Raw match and attacks him with a chair or even more brutal but less likely to happen a sledgehammer, puts him through an announce table, makes Ryder bleed pretty badly to the point where Ryder misses the next SmackDown.

 

Maybe Sheamus can come out and push Ryder off the stage in a wheelchair. It worked so well the last time it happened to him.

It sucks he has to miss, but I knew he was out as soon as the dates were announced. Chikara is his home promotion, no way he'd miss Trios.

 

They're running at the same time? You'd think they would've coordinated that a little better right?

I don't know how many options PWG had, but Chikara announced the dates for KoT a LONG time ago.

 

Brock won

 

Brock won in a pretty controlling/uneventful fashion. This could've so easily blown up in their face.

 

Brock wins by decision, Vince rejoices. Still a dumb decision, IMO for the WWE.

Brock was definitely fearful of getting KO'ed standing up.

 

Brock saying "from one white boy to (pause) all nationalities" looked a lot like he wanted to say "one white boy to another."

 

Boring fight, I'm just happy all the "Brock is going to get knocked out in the first round" idiots that clearly weren't watching MMA when Brock was fighting the first time got shut up.

 

Yeah Brock's fight with Dean Ambrose was more exciting.

I feel like this was the perfect possible outcome for Vince. Brock wins, doesn't get hurt. But its a boring match so UFC doesn't reel in any new fans because of it.

That was kinda fun for me to see Lesnar legitimately beat the dog shit out of Mark Hunt but overall I don't think UFC has me as a fan just yet. We'll see how CM Punk's first fight goes and maybe I start to actually buy PPVs instead of streaming them somewhere else
