Yeah it's a stadium tour. I read somewhere about the Philly date being in a baseball stadium

Flyers were handed out at the Real Friends show in Philly last night so definitely some credence to that rumor

 

They were also handed out at Emo Nite in Chicago last night

The only way I can see Green day not headlining was it blink was on the tour

Blink is only “relevant” because they are actively touring, and despite the venue sizes they are playing, I don’t think they are THAT relevant. I think it’s easy to say that Blink are bigger when Green Day hasn’t toured in a little while, but Green Day is ultimately the bigger band.

Very excited to see Green Day live again but meh

 

Dead Culture is the only band worth knowing on that tour. Great hardcore band. Vocalist also plays bass in You vs Yesterday, an upcoming pop rock band.

 

Chicago for the green day fob weezer is Wrigley field and in august

 

Outdoor shows in August are a bad idea, especially in Chicago when the weather is so whack
