    Rental market and taxes are worse. I'd do Denver over Portland. I'd go Olympia, WA over both though.

    I'll live in Washington state close to the city

    The only thing I know about southern wa is it has a lot of religious people and it had a major measles outbreak. I'm sure there are nice things out there too.

    Yea, it's not that far southeast of Portland. It's such a tiny place, it's wild to think that happened there.

    Olympia is 90 minutes from Portland and Seattle and its somehow cheap af compartiavely.

    Yea, I obviously agree with that but I feel like until that happens it could make things slightly more bearable

    Portland is just very white and all the locals complain but almost never about the things they should be complaining about.

    Well, they would be getting taxed one way or the other but yea, it would be a lot more lol ez pass just sucks because you still have to go through tolls regardless
