Bruce leaving Funhaus is a modern tragedy but glad he’s continuing to do what he loves independently. Watching his streams with Autumn made me think this was a long time coming. Happy for him. Sad for me.

 

I said the exact same thing in the funhaus thread lol. I would watch his stream and notice he would go the same way as Spoole one day.

 

The 20 best games of the past 20 years (that never get into top 20 lists)

 

if Invisible Inc gets ported on Switch I’d buy it a 3rd time. i wish they added more content for that game

Shadowrun Returns is pretty underrated tbh. there’s only one other person I know who’s played it

 

My personal fave on this list is Ratchet and Clank. So much fun.

Anyone pick up Torchlight 2 on Switch yet? Seems like a decent port from what I'm reading. Love Diablo 2 and 3 but never played Torchlight. At 20 bucks, sounds like it may be worth picking up.

 

Really want to but I need to practice some discipline. Looks awesome though. Ill pick it up someday.

 

Idk most of these games but I do know I have always wanted to play Skies Of Arcadia.

 

It's not games you don't know though, it games that aren't usually on lists

The header for this article gave me very little confidence.

Some of these are good, even great games, but most are nowhere near hidden gems of "best games of the past 20 years". The only one I can agree with Skies of Arcadia. I do agree with the author about Billy Hatcher though. That should be an established franchise by now.

 

If the Switch version of Overwatch gets cross-progression with PS4 (unlikely) I'll buy it

 

I'd buy Overwatch if I liked it but I don't

 

I'm not buying a 3-4 year old shooter that is approaching it's end of life.

 

I don’t think I ever posted it because I was tired that day but the overwatch league is very popular and I’m stoked on that.

 

really surprised this didn’t happen like two years ago

 

I don’t really care about the “quality” of the list as a top 20, I just like sharing stuff about underrated/overlooked games

 

overwatch is still fun

 

Overwatch is absolutely great. If it has cross progression (basically just my skins really) then it's a day one for me. Even if it doesn't, I'm very tempted. Playing laid in bed on the Switch would be great.

 

Overwatch is all together too Blizzard-y for me
