So it’s good?

 

I’ve heard it’s got some good scares but is plagued by bugs and uninspired at times. I hope it comes to PS because I’d love to give it a go though.

Either way, no horror game will ever scare me as much as Condemned did. The second one was absolute bollocks. The first scares the actual shit out of me. My pants got so dark. And the combat was terrifying.

 

It seems kinda sloppy from a technical standpoint. But still scary.

I was just trying to work through my backlog a little, though...

 

Came out August 30th and since it is available on Xbox Game Pass, I decided to give a shot and it is pretty good.

 

A friend let me try out his Windows VR headset the other night, and it utterly blew me away. The best way I can describe it is that the novelty alone made me feel like I was five again and discovering video games for the first time.

I don't own a PC, just a Mac, so I went ahead and ordered the PS4 VR, which should arrive tomorrow. I know the tracking supposedly has some major flaws, and it's probably not going to be as visually impressive as the headset I tried at my friend's house, especially on my non-Pro PS4, but I'm still stoked for it to arrive. It was bundled with Astrobot and Moss, and I also ordered Rush of Blood.

Does anyone else in here have one? Thoughts? Recommendations?

No release for the PS4? Sad.

 

I used a PSVR a few times and never found it “immersive”. Fun enough for sure though, but not enough for me to buy one. I haven’t tried the big PC headsets.

 

It was on Microsoft’s e3 stage. It might be a (timed) exclusive.

 

What’d you try?

I’m honestly considering trading in my PS4 and all the games I never touch for the PS4 Pro because apparently the VR games that really matter are much improved on the Pro, and if I only have to spend ~$100 for the upgrade, I might as well because I’d like to go all in on VR at this point.

Don’t really know the names of games, it was a few different ones. One was about diving or something. No Skyrim or something like that though. But yeah a Pro is a lot better for VR.

Lol just came to post this. Good for him, he’s a huge Gears fan.

I want a movie trilogy so bad. Wasn’t a huge fan of the direction the story took in Gears 3 but i still love the overall story. And I enjoyed where they took it in 4.

I’d say I’d take a Miniseries but I can’t see anyone giving it the budget it would need to not look like shit.
