With a good FA and draft, the Dolphins could compete for second in the division as early as next year tbh

And it'd be an optimistic second place, not like the bullshit from the past few seasons

 

all I know is the next 1-2 years is going to be a hell of a ride, good or bad

 

Now I'm just worried until we re-sign Ramsey and Yannick.

 

Rosen/Fitzpatrick are going to be seeing a lot of Leonard & Quinnen Williams this year. That trade is a really confusing move to make. I was really looking forward to our divisional games this year.

At least in like two or three years things should heat up in our division

as long as the Dolphins don't go 0-16 I dont' really care what happens this year tbh. They were always going to be a bottom 3-5 team so this doesn't change that.

hopefully guys on the defense like Jerome Baker and Minkah Fitzpatrick can take the next step and continue their growth and then we start everything back up in March

 

It’s a different regime but they’re still functioning like a team that doesn’t have a clear direction. Trading for Rosen, trying to trade for Clowney, a day later tanking for picks. It just seems like they’re scattered.

 

I already laid out why they were trying for Clowney.

Especially since he went for a box of cracker jacks, it made perfect sense

I think people forget how young Clowney is and how long he'll likely be a good player

 

Tunsil is the same. Young and will be a good player for many years.

 

You posted earlier (today?) that he’s 28-29 and I took that as fact, but he’s only 26 so maybe your post was hyperbolic or I’m just bad at reading lol but long story short yes, he is still young. Maybe a change of scenery helps him reach the potential everyone thinks he has.
