Haha being compared to a nazi when I was the victim of racist epithets from local skinheads. Gotta love it.

Oh and one of those individuals who hurled rocks at me and my brothers for being brown is now a cop and comes from a family of cops.

  2. Ya I support the deaths of people who occupy poor black neighborhoods and violently hunt people who have been forced to commit crime in a system that gives them no other recourse

Is that what u meant by occupation

Is the fact that it is literally in the police officer's job description to stop and put down KKK members and ISIS radicals when necessary enough to differentiate them from those groups?

No, because that isn't their job and the amount of police officers associated with or actively in the KKK would likely shock you.

I didnt make any mistake. i didnt think or say people are talking solely about murdering random police officers as though that is the endgame. You and i want the same endgame, how we go about achieving that is where we differ. you and others support the murder of police officers, i do not. I stand with BLM.

I am explaining to you the viewpoint you find so repulsive, not necessarily endorsing it. You haven't yet actually answered at what point you think violence against an oppressive system is worthwhile.

  11. You are painting a broad stroke here that everyone on this board is a Nazi for having an opinion that is different from yours. Please try not to say offensive things like this. Several people found this post offensive.

No where did I say everyone on here is a nazi. I said some posts come borderline when you start supporting the death of a large number of people based on the actions of the few. A lot of people are letting hatred get the best of them and that's the opposite of what people should be doing right now. Block me from the thread if you want. It might be for the better.

  13. I know this goes without saying and things are heated right now, but please if everyone can have discussions about this without name calling or painting broad generalizations about anyone with a different opinion. The great thing about this board is how many intelligent people we have here and the kinds of discussions we have are far better than anywhere else. Let's continue that trend with insightful posting and not name calling and assumptions.

  14. I'm just telling you that invoking Nazism was offensive to multiple people who reported your post. I will not block you from a thread where you've not broken any rules. Just avoid the thread if you do not like the topic.

it isnt the actions of a few. its the entire institution of policing. every police officer who chose to enter the force is complicit. because it is a choice. fuck every cop.

Police officers have and do arrest white supremacists. The FBI usually handles most of the battle, but they collaborate with police officers and if you think otherwise you are wrong.

Regarding some ties between police and KKK, I myself have pointed out the horror of this before. I remember while diving into the internets coming across a picture of a police cruiser parked in front of a house of several KKK members for what seemed to be a casual get together. It would be interesting to see data of how many whiteboy police stations in the middle of bumblefuck georgia harbor actual KKK sympathies these days vs. those who are mostly made up of a fairly diverse police squad who combat that form of terrorism. I think diversity in police stations is the important first step in weeding the trash out.

But is it not more reasonable to say that, while, yes, there are several unqualified, somewhat facist police officers drawn to the job because of the power trip it affords them, the majority of officers in the majority of police stations (most of which are diverse) are NOT equivalent to goddamn nazis? That, yes, white supremacist organizations tend to be on their radar of groups who need to be brought to justice? There are several cases that prove racial biases can exist, but that accusation when applied to all police sounds so delusional. Am I being unreasonable here? What evidence am I missing that proves otherwise?

The police officers who kill innocent people deserve no defense and need to be brought to justice, no doubt. Watching the execution-style murder of Anton Sterling was horrific. It seems like a safe assumption that the cop who did that is yet another one of those redneck gun advocates who secretly thinks that black males tend to possess the superpowers of Simon from Meteor Man or some shit. I'm not saying that the mounting cases of unnecessary force and outright murder are not an issue, because that is clearly a prevalent example of one of the gross injustices of our time.

But entertaining the idea of murdering police because of some delusion that they are all oppressors out to get communities of color is heartless as well, and makes me wonder if any of the radical left revolutionaries here even know any cops or have officers in their family or extended family, because if they did than they might see their humanity instead of demonizing them all as oppressors. If someone you cared about who was a cop was murdered for no other reason than being a cop, how would that make you feel?

Some restructuring of laws might help change some of the negative ways policing impacts communities of color (starting with getting rid of most drug/narcotics offenses and stuff like selling CDs and cigs on a street corner). But blood for blood in a war where neither party is good or evil will only lead to more suffering.

Anti police violence is not a result of the actions of a few.

Who is white and who is black? Yes, i still find the murder of innocent officers to be repulsive. There is no magical point or line where violence against an oppressive system suddenly becomes worthwhile so im not gonna play the hypothetical games with you because the options are exponential. Ive stated multiple times i stand with BLM on this current issue and dont advocate murder of innocent police officers. If violence were to be used to end the oppressive system, killing officers trying to protect and stand besides those civilians protesting against them is completely counterproductive and stupid. You guys should shift your focus of violence towards congress and those with actual power keeping this country where it is, not the random expendable officers making 60 grand a year trying to get by and raise their families.

Also, just want to say that this is the last I will be speaking about the events of last night. As much as I feel like defending and mourning the police officers who were shot (weren't they protecting and getting members of BLM to safety?), my heart goes out to the POC on this board and in general who are no doubt going to be dealing with even more massive piles of social garbage than usual for the next several weeks or longer. I apologize if I sounded petty by defending the men in blue for a day, I still recognize that there are systemic problems that need to be fixed and those need to be the main focus of conversation immediately following the events of what happened last night.

Use your brain? my point is there are multiple shifting points where violence may become necessary. To try and come up with one singular instance is stupid because the examples would be exponential.

you are assuming innocence on the part of police officers, who are people that have voluntarily agreed to serve as the enforcers of the state's (and thus the ruling class') interests. this is like saying "well, don't go to war, because the army you're fighting against are just some schmucks. you should really be focusing solely on the decision makers." the problem is that you have to get through those who use violence to enforce ideology and elite interests. police are essentially a domestic armed force waging a decades long war against communities of color and the working class. they are not innocent in this. saying they are innocent ignores their job description of enforcing the status quo of oppression.

So if you admit there are points where violence may become necessary, what are you even arguing?
