"When I Was Young" is probably my favorite song between all of Neighborhoods and DED.

 

YES they should absolutely open with Cynical!

 

Lights off during Mark's opening verse then crazy lights action when Travis breaks in the with the drumming

 

to me, i would prefer at least 8 of the songs on neighborhoods (deluxe) to anything on DED. maybe it's just cause i don't have much of a liking for ep's.

Did we ever find out why blink got rid of the smiley logo with no arrows on the girl's arm for the album art? I know everyone assumed it was something to do with trademarks but was there ever an official statement or anything like that?

 

top notch post. there are SO MANY great EPs out there. this is one of them.

I agree with everyone that they need to change up the set list a bit. It's basically been the same thing since 2009 when they got back together. I know they will never stop playing the singles (although they had stopped playing STFTK for awhile and retired Adam's Song so it would be nice for them to put away First Date and Down for a bit) but they can easily trim songs like Violence, Dumpweed, and anything from Neighborhoods. I'm really hoping for at least 6 songs from California added to the set not including the joke songs.

 

But when Mark posted the album art online he said something like "smiley face no arrows" then a few hours later he either removed the art and posted the new artwork with no logo or he just took away his comment on the picture (I forget which happened) Why post it in the first place if they didn't like it? Just strange.

 

lol. i'm so bummed. i saw them in charlotte a couple weeks ago ALMOST w/ Anthony Green. storms delayed his flight in baltimore.

I remember the first time he left they just threw the mic into the crowd and let things go their way.

 

6 may be pushing it. You need to realize they have to cater to the casuals too. I'd expect 3 new songs at most not including joke songs. Get rid of ATST, First Date, Dumpweed/Violence and put in Sober, She's Out of her mind or No Future. BTD will count as one of the new songs obviously. Add Cynical to open too

 

the drummer for TEN filled in for 2, chris did backing vocals for a song, they brought up a fan for another one. it was actually pretty good! but mostly awkward haha.

 

I can't justify getting rid of ATST since Matt took over. I could totally justify taking out What's My Age Again.

 

Bums me out how many people always want Violence dropped lol. This lineup does that song so much justice. Just hope they play it at my date.

 

i bet they'll only add 2 or MAYBE 3 new songs to the set.

 

My guess would be Rabbit Hole, No Future and She's Out Of Her Mind.

 

Thought it was interesting the smiley ingrained in the back of the vinyl is the 6 arrow'd smiley face. Guess they can't add the seventh?

It's completely wishful thinking on my part I know. I just love the album and want to hear those songs live.

Blink can't ever get rid of ATST though, it's one of their biggest hits and like others have stated the causal fan that goes would be upset not hearing it, as would a new fan going to a blink show for the first time. Agree completely about Cynical opening though.

 

You know they're adding Rabbit Hole and most likely She's Out of Her Mind. I'd really like to hear Cynical and Sober live.

I wonder if when they play shows in San Diego and LA if they add those songs for that crowd even if they don't play them during the entire tour. I think it would be pretty cool of them to do that for those fans.

 

Probably only She's Out Of Her Mind, Bored To Death, Rabbit Hole and the two joke songs.

 

First Date can stay but only if it's like this
