Also just bought tickets to see Blink 182 in Michigan a few days before. Need to see Enema in full at least once, and I'd REALLY prefer not to have to cut Jawbreaker.

I know everyone's schedule changes a bit once they get to the fest but y'all need to fit in time for food (and even potentially downtime).

 

Most of my partial sets turn into hang out / beer / food time haha

 

Makes sense! It's just...interesting seeing some peoples schedules where they have artists/bands they want to see back to back to back right from doors to the end of the day. You're going to burn out day one if all you're doing is rushing from one stage to the next, especially if you are splitting sets. Take some time to rest, get enough food without having to wolf it down, don't stress about missing a few acts. Just some general tips!

 

A lot of times Riot Fest sets feel longer to me. Like, I'll show up thinking 'oh man I gotta see all of band xyz's 45 min set they're great and I can't wait to see them, it sucks I have to miss band zyx but that's the way it is' and then I see band xyz play for twenty minutes and I'm like 'ok that's enough lets see band zyx now' does this make sense

 

Ya my breaks typically come where I’m planning to check out just a partial set of someone, or someone like Village People is a good example cus it sounds fun and all but I’ll really just be hanging around in ear shot doing whatever I need to do.

I also used to follow my schedule much more rigorously but Ive been more chill lately

 

I would love if Cant Swim were on the Enter Shikari show and I hope I’m wrong, they have just said multiple times on their Facebook and in the tour poster that CS aren’t on the show because of Riot Fest. But as mentioned above maybe they just have to say that until after the festival?

 

I would wager good money that is what's happening.
