Matt sounds so good on Always in that iHeart Radio performance. Violence too.

 

I remember when news posts on Facebook started trending in like late 2013 or 2014 when many posts quoted Tom about making a new album, I saw many comments that were like: "what!?!?!? blink-182 got back together?" etc..

 

Found this video on Youtube... wasn't from the show I was at... but holy shit it's bad. FF to 2:20 mark.

 

I like how the lighting makes it look like Tom dressed as the album cover.

We'll see how they do in the second week. I remember Neighborhoods hitting #2 in the first week and then dropping to like #12. Really hope this album stays relevant for a while.

Genuinely so happy for them targeting #1. They deserve it after the last 3/4 years haha.

 

This video shows side by side comparisons of Blink in 1999 vs 2009 doing ATST. 1999 Tom kills 2009 Tom (not that its thatttt surprising) in this vide, he may have peaked at 23 as ironic as that number is....

 

It's just amazing to me how Tom got so horrible, I always thought it was just a matter of him being lazy. He was so lifeless.

 

Laziness definitely played a factor. The dude doesn't care about sounding good live, only on record.

 

The saddest part is that in a recent interview, someone asked him why his singing voice has changed. His answer was that he learned how to sing.....

 

Matt butchered What's my age again on the Iheartradio. But there label is pushing the hell out of them. Nice label.

 

Basically the exact same set list as I saw a few years ago. Didn't add any new songs from Milwaukee set, my best guess is new songs will come on the San Diego date after this Canadian run.

It's pretty crazy how stagnant their setlists are. I'm glad Matt sounds good though.

 

They HAVE to change the setlist to add songs from the new album. It looks like it's more of a guess of what's going to be cut to make room.

I agree, but they've said many times that they are going to be adding a lot of songs this tour. If they don't with the official start of the tour being in San Diego that would be a bummer. Im seeing them 3 times in 3 days and hope they change the set list. If not they will still put on a great show but would be cool to have a few different songs.

 

I know us fans on this forum wish they'd drop songs and change things up but you listen to those crowds sing along and there's no way they can drop their biggest hits. There's a way larger percentage of people that would be pissed if they don't play like First Date and All The Small Things. Surprised they didn't start playing new stuff tonight though. Feels like they're scared to lol.

 

So what do you think has the most chance of getting cut? I can only think of dysentery, violence, not now and the joke songs don't need to be there but they seem pretty adamant about them. Pretty much the majority of the set list is a hit parade. A lot of people are going to be pissed at the trim down either way.

Whenever I think of neighborhoods, I think about how I went into the store and there was a normal version and a more expensive extended version right next to each other. The pure existence of the two versions seemed so douchy to me and it still does.

 

How about they just fucking play longer? I don't know why Mark is under the impression people don't want to watch a band for over 90 minutes
