i guess it's not bad, but i'm sure it feels like a waste of time / money and i won't be surprised if you feel/act like a shell of yourself during this date as you're excited for the good one the following day.

Well I think the first date is going to be like a her coming over kind of thing, or drinks at most. But the reason I'm concerned is hypothetically if the second date turns into a relationship I'll have to reconcile that with whatever happens the night before

 

what if she's a freak who handles you turning her down bad. then she knows where you live. think about it Chase.

Not really bad unless you're quite far along with the one you actually like.

I've done it with two first dates on back to back days, knowing that I was way more interested in the second one. I woke up hungover, with the first one in my bed. She had smelly feet.

The second date went really well though. She just turned out to be a total conundrum thereafter. Still is I suppose.

I guess you shouldn't count your chickens and all that!

 

Trying to accept the fact that no guy could ever love me and I'll be alone forever is really really hard. I make excuses irl as to why I'm single af. Doesn't help that I'm introverted and rather not be out in public where I'll get a bunch of anxiety from thinking everyone is looking at me.

I'm always running into couple pics popping up on social media and I for whatever reason like watching romance Korean drama. All that just makes me more depressed.

idk have you texted her? If I ever have someone/lady friend coming over, i'll text about an hour before they're supposed to arrive what time I should expect them just so I know how long I have before I need to do some last minute tidying up or find out if they're stuck in traffic or something.

 

Had to drop off some things at my mom's office and she proceeded to introduce me to every single female between 21-35 while giving oddball info about me to them.

Yeah I texted maybe 45 minutes ago. Just thrown off that she didn't text first today.

Cleaning up is what I should be doing right now instead of prepping for a letdown

 

cleaning will take your mind off worrying so much, but I know that's difficult. you'll be fine, Chase. If she shows up, great! if not, no big deal. There's the one tomorrow and there will be many more after that.

 

Think of it this way, you gotta clean anyway so might as well. Not to mention, a clean house always makes me feel good so even if it doesn't work out at least you can feel good about a clean house.
