It fits specifically around the toilet bowl so your legs are beside you whereas a stool they'd be in front of you

I mean It just seems gross hahah. Unless you are an absolute god at peeing and can always predictably aim, even in the middle of the night when half awake, no matter what direction it comes out. The point of having a separate seat is a surface to sit on that doesn’t get pee on it
