5:30am is a real time that exists?

 

Usually 9-9:30

Up at 4, out the door by around 4:30 at latest after a quick snack and stretching.

But it depends on how long I’m running for. If I’m out for longer than 6 miles I save it for after work otherwise I’m not going to be able to be ready by 8.

Meanwhile I’m gearing up for a 12-miler on Sunday and spent most of today planning my route on google maps instead of doing actual work.

I get up every morning at 4:30 or 5 AM to work out without an alarm. Fuckin’ circadian rhythm.

That fucking treadmill costs 4K and I still want one so goddamn bad.

 

Why is it better than a regular treadmill.

 

You can do live classes or recorded classes so it feels more like a gym atmosphere, comes with a fucking massive iMac-like screen, tracks and remembers miles, heartrate, etc. the tread on it is softer / better than standard treadmills, Peloton customer support is awesome and real quick (in my experience with the bike), you can, I believe, so scenic runs so the screen with show you Fiji or some shit while you run on a path so it takes you out of “I’m running on a treadmill”.

However, the tread, much like the bike, requires a $40 monthly subscription on top of the outrageous cost of the item itself. Not sure if there’s a discount on the subscription when you have the bike and the tread though.

 

Just a preseason body though probably?
