Sometimes, the popular answer is the right one. "All Too Well," still the GOAT. "Treacherous" and "Clean" are both up there, though.

"Mine" is definitely top five for me. "Last Kiss" too, if we're talking Speak Now.

Sparks Fly is the definition of a perfect pop song for me.

All Too Well is def one of the greatest. I have favorite Taylor songs for different moods. If I wanna be mopey and emotional its all too well and last kiss. If I am in a cutesy mood it is enchanted or Sparks fly etc etc. clean never rly stuck with me which is interesting because I tend to eat those kinda songs up

Didn’t rolling stone rank them all last summer? All too well was 1 and New Romantics was 2. Seemed accurate to me.

“Holy Ground” is the best Taylor Swift song. Everyone else is playing for second.

You’re forgetting Wonderland and New Romantics exist

Oh bad TS take. (Also not the first time it’s appeared on here or AP)

All Too Well isn’t THAT great of a song. Musically it’s pretty boring. The lyrics carry a ton of the weight of the song.

I respect y’all for having it so high but wouldn’t crack my top 5. It’d be top 10 for the sake of acknowledging what it did for her career after.

Agree about All Too Well, it's a poem set to music, which is cool, but I like my songs with a bit more musical excitement for lack of better terminology

    1) All Too Well

    Sparks Fly
    Red
    Style
    State of Grace

I guess is my top five. Positions 2-9 are kind of a jumble depending on the mood.

She’s a lyrics-first artist, though. All her best songs are carried by the writing. That said, the build in “All Too Well,” the subtle country touches, the autumnal vibe, are all perfect.

My hot take is that “New Romantics” is wildly overrated, is in its right place as a b-side, and is not a top 50 Taylor’s Swift song.

I am so bad at rankings because I feel like my opinions change every year, but consistent top 10 for me (in no order) are:

    - Fearless
    - Treacherous
    - New Romantics
    - This Love
    - Sparks Fly
    - Forever & Always
    - Delicate
    - All Too Well
    - New Year’s Day
    - State of Grace

It’s hard though because I almost feel like Taylor’s songs are hard to rank individually? 1989 for example works so much as a cohesive piece to me, but I hardly ever listen to the songs on their own, minus like, Blank Space or Style on the radio.

I think along with lyrics, her talent lies in creating a mood and an escape for an hour. Each time I’ve fallen in love with an album of hers, it was the only thing I wanted to listen to for a solid month. Even songs I didn’t like at first end up being songs I’m dying to listen to on an album. I’m very much expecting that Lover will pull this same trick on me.

“All Too Well” always gets an extra bump because of that epic Grammys performance. I can see it in my mind whenever the song’s on.

    My top 5 is probably:

    All Too Well
    Treacherous
    Holy Ground
    Clean
    Begin Again
