Who Dev Hynes is? He’s a very prominent artist and producer in the industry. He’s Blood Orange, but worked with Haim and many other artists. There was a vid of Dev rocking out to a 1975 remix recently so I could see that he’s a fan

 

They’re probably doing the KROQ show. So full headlining set travel 3 hours or backyard for 60

 

I guess it depends on the other bands/if they give away a ton of tickets for the KROQ Xmas. Last tyear I won tickets for both nights and didnt even go haha

 

Not to mention, he has collabed with Carly Rae Jepsen!

 

Holy shit I never realized it until now but a Dev Hynes/1975 collaboration would sound amazing

Agreed! I'd say it's more bluesy/rock ballad than country but it's awesome no matter what you call it.
