Silhouette has been a staple for a long time. I'd be surprised if that wasn't in there. Yellow Belly seems likely as well. Idk about the other two, especially All The World Is Mad. My guess would be they'd cycle through other Beggars songs for the next leg.

 

Yellow Belly wasn't part of the initial set for this most recent tour. They removed Anthology for it after the first week of shows.

So, based on that, it's fair to say that Yellow Belly is no guarantee.

 

I wonder what the dude who wanted to pay a fortune to hear the album in advance thinks of the album now? What was his name? IceZebra or something?

Oh gosh, I forgot it was the same guy who argued about how the band intended the "To" to be capitalized... We can say that this thread got annoying at times, but it never reached THAT level of annoyingness.

 

I'm glad I wasn't paying attention to this thread when that "discussion" was happening.

 

Did Thrice ever do any of those wacky shows where all band members dress to a certain theme? I was remembering Emery going with Hawaiian/beach dress for a 2010 tour and it was pretty funny to see Toby wearing a palm leaf tutu.

 

They'd often wear their Halloween costumes on stage during Halloween but nothing beyond that. Life Aquatic was my favorite version of this.

Oh it was not in this thread, it was in a studio update thread and also a single thread I think. That guy got in a big argument with Jason about how he should be able to pay 800$ to listen to the album in advance and later started arguing because Jason didn't capitalize the second "To" in the album title and said the band intended it to be capitalized. He also said that they should make places where people could pay to listen to albums in advance like a cinema. It was even more annoying than it sounds.

 

Oh yeah I think I was around for that. He mentioned the offer of $800 and they turned him down. I quoted him asking if he was serious.

 

Jason should shoot a code of conduct video for the site where somebody is talking smack in a sequence of quick cuts. Then, out of nowhere, Jason heroically kicks down their door, grabs their laptop and throws it against the wall. End video.

 

They actually tried to do it for him but couldn't figure out how to make it secure

 

Only on their rise against/ALK3 tour have they not played Silhouette since I've been following them, so you're probably right about that. I remember all the switching out updates you posted lol so I know Yellowbelly is no guarantee, but really no song is.
I was just saying those songs would make me so happy they can do whatever with the rest.

I know All The World is Mad isn't everyone's favorite off Beggars and would probably want something else off the album instead. I think that song is awesome live though, esp the beginning and bridge jam. I would probably only be ok with them replacing it with something else upbeat from the album like At The Last. Vhessiu is a A+ album so if they switched For Miles out for anything else on that album that's not really too tragic.

 

I love All The World Is Mad. Absolutely great song.

 

'At The Last' doesn't get enough respect.

 

That song has been in constant rotation for me for nearly a year now. It's my jam.

I'll just say that the entirety of Beggars is perfect.

 

Even the b-sides are perfect.

 

Seeing them for the first time this fall. I'll be happy with anything they play, but I'm really hoping they keep Hurricane in the set. It's just the perfect opener.
