Interesting that all but 3 of the songs were done with Feldmann.

And interesting that 1 of the 3 is only Mark, Matt, and Travis. Definitely excited to hear that one.

yeah was actually quite surprised reading that credits list, i figured he would have worked on maybe half the record considering the wide array of people they were pictured working with over the past half a year, but see he's dipped his toes in nearly everything. that being said Generational Divide and Darkside were both winners so it seems (and i'm hoping) he's got a much better handle on the band this time around.

 

I think Feldmann has co-write credits on songs he didn't produce for this one. I think he only produced three based on the picture he posted

 

So any predictions on what songs are Matt/Mark only?

Pin The Grenade, Black Rain and Ransom seem like songs Matt would write/title.

 

So happy I stayed up late and got 4 hours of sleep before work to not miss out on the preorder and nine hours later its still available. Not mad though, better safe than sorry.

 

But did you snag the record when it was only $11.99? If so, totally worth it, right?!

Grabbing the $11.99 makes setting an alarm, pissing off my girlfriend because only she woke up to the alarm and had to wake me up, and not falling back to sleep for a long time totally worth it!

 

Well lets just say I grabbed two for less than the price of one shipped lol

 

I assume if his name is listed on the credits, that means he co-wrote and produced it. But that's just my assumption.

It's strange that they seemed to have worked with so many people over the last year or whatever, wrote/recorded over 50 songs, and then they still chose Feldmann songs for the vast majority of the album. I wonder if they did that because these songs are the most cohesive, and then later on they'll release an EP or deluxe version that has stuff by other producers and whatnot.

 

Luckily it was only 10pm here when the pre-orders went up. I set an alarm for 9:58 so I could sit and refresh their website constantly, and then boom! I saw the $11.99 one and immediately was like "what the fuck?!" and I instantly threw it in my cart and checked out, even before looking at the other options available just because I didn't want to miss out on that mistake. And then I went back and looked at the other bundles and things and was like "Yup, just the record's fine."

 

Darkside is so dancey I love it

having regrets that I didnt go for the Neon sign even though I have nowhere to put it. I wonder how limited it is. I also heard it was available on the UK site for cheaper.

 

I almost freakin' ordered the top option which was like a $30 bundle, but luckily I scrolled down and saw the record itself and the price and was very, very confused (also cause I was just waking up). Thank god I scrolled down and didn't just panic order the first option I saw. And also glad I didn't accidentally order a water bottle or CD lol.

 

haha yeah, I had to read the item's description a couple times to make sure it was indeed the vinyl that I was ordering for $12, haha. I hope it was intentional for the first 100 people or something and we are each getting a signed copy, a personal live show from the band where we get to choose the entire setlist, a dinner at Sombrero with the band, hang out with Mark for a day at Disneyland, go on a haunted LA tour with Matt, and get tattooed with Travis. THANKS BLINK-182!!!

Who did it better? blink or Green Day? Kinda whack Green Day even did a bunny logo when blink had it first...

Also now blink and AVA both have songs called "Heaven"
