I'll be out doing food delivery, and fully intend on stopping wherever I am five minutes prior so I don't miss out. With bands as big as Blink, something like a limited vinyl won't be on sale for long. And that's if it's even available tonight.

Side note: I love living on the west coast for things like video game releases and preorders that are set to EST. So much better doing it at 9PM vs 12AM.

I had the thought of ranking breakfast cereals this morning but it’s honestly the hardest ranking I’ve ever thought of and I don’t even eat a lot of breakfast cereal.

 

Are they still doing the letter thing on the front covers? What are we upto now?

 

Orange Soda (Sunkist) is the best.

If we are ranking best way to consume soda, I would rank it as:

From a fountain (such as from McDonalds)
20 oz can
Poured in glass with ice from 2 liter
20 oz bottle

 

Cinnamon Toast Crunch would be right at the very top, and tbh, nothing else really matters.

My ranking for the singles so far:

1. Generational Divide
2. BIOMY
3. Darkside
4. Happy Days

Darkside has a good chance at taking at least second spot once i get familiar with it. BIOMY is underrated though; the dynamics and textures in that song are great.

 

Can anyone shed light on how they can promote/deliver a limited vinyl variant when the album cover was only recently decided? Do they have to contract an LP plant to just set aside production time w/o a design and then just hope it works out or what?

 

Wooo got the limited 300 pieces neon magenta vinyl! And socks, gonna wear ‘m with pride.

I will say I love the cover art. Also hoping that On That Emo Shit is the most 2005 song we've heard since 2005.

 

Could be a few things...

1. They could have possibly had the cover concept and idea of variants picked for awhile, but had random little nitpicky things to finalize on it, such as the band name wasn’t big enough, etc.

2. They might have not even sent the vinyl order to the plant yet. I assume the pictures of colors will be mock-ups, and the plant will try to get them as close as they can once they put the order in.

3. If the plant doesn’t have time on hold to press these to have out by September 20th, the vinyl may get pushed back.

4. They have time on hold at the plant to make sure it’s out on time.

5. It could be a none these things or all of these things or other things. I don’t really know.

 

Speaking of vinyl, I might have some records that I’m willing to part with that you guys might be into. Want me to make up a list and post it in here?
