  1. On February 11, 2003, FBI Director Robert Mueller testified to Congress that "Iraq has moved to the top of my list. As we previously briefed this Committee, Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program poses a clear threat to our national security, a threat that will certainly increase in the event of future military action against Iraq. Baghdad has the capability and, we presume, the will to use biological, chemical, or radiological weapons against US domestic targets in the event of a US invasion."

On February 11, 2003, FBI Director Robert Mueller testified to Congress that "seven countries designated as State Sponsors of Terrorism—Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, and North Korea—remain active in the US and continue to support terrorist groups that have targeted Americans."

I'm terrified Trump is going to try to stay in office once his term runs out. The ironic thing is I was telling anyone who would listen before the inauguration that Obama should refuse to leave office because we knew the election was compromised. Everyone said "you can't disrespect the office of the President like that." and look where we are today.

  8. Either they were and Mueller was part of it, or they weren't and Mueller was too incompetent to recognize it or just didn't care. Does it matter?

Mueller seems to knows Trump is rigging the game and is just playing along with all the hoops Trump has set up.

Does he just have misplaced faith that he can play along and expect the American public (and congress for that matter) to properly read between the lines?

Is his honor to follow the rules more important to him than ensuring Trump and his cronies get prosecuted?

Is he gleefully playing along, knowing he could do more but pretending his hands are tied?

its really hard to say. Clearly this isn't all on Mueller. The stuff he has done and presented should be enough to get others to carry the torch. But it also feels like it could've and should've realized the gaps in the political system that means that even though in an ideal world he did enough... he didn't do enough.
